Juwon Ogungbe is a composer and singer. Born in London, he was educated in the United Kingdom and Nigeria. Juwon enjoys a multifaceted career in music, expressing his creative and interpretative skills and talents.

a. African and Diaspora Development Day 2010 Juwon will sing and play at this event which will take place at: Cass School of Education, University of East London Stratford Campus. Saturday 2nd of July, from 12 noon. b. Arts Village, Kensington Gardens The London Lucumi Choir and Union Dance perform Juwon Ogungbe's "Time and the Trickster's Heart", with Juwon singing the role of Eshu, the Trickster Deity and playing piano. Sunday 25th of July, time to be confirmed c. Summer is HERE - an evening of song, wine and fun at Shoreditch Church (St Leonard's), Shoreditch High Street, London E1 6SN Juwon will sing theatre songs from operas and broadway musicals, accompanied by Wai Yin Lee on piano. Also featuring on the bill will be Kit and the Widow, the well known music and cabaret duo. Friday the 30th of July. Doors open at 7.30 pm. 2. Presentations Juwon is to be a discussion leader at a symposium and festival from The Centre for Intercultural Musicology at Churchill College, Cambridge, Hosted by Professor Akin Euba, the event is entitled "Bridging Musicology and Composition - The global significance of Bartok's method" 12th - 14th of August (precise timings to be confirmed)
